UCSC 2022-2023 Academic Major Calculator

A program for UCSC Advisors/Students to calculate what 2022-2023 majors students may consider/pursue given the completed class history.

How to Use the Program:

1.) Search Up/Scroll through the list of all UCSC courses to the left.
2.) Select courses that you have previously completed AND passed with a satisfactory grade (Check your major department to see what is considered a satisfactory grade).
3.) Once the courses have been chosen, click on "Calculate Qualified Majors".

Qualified Majors:

> Creates a list of all majors you can consider. You may hover over the major's title to view the major's prerequisites, as well as the grading policy. To the right of the box will present all the courses that are equivalent to the major with the courses you inputted in.
Note: All majors that are considered "qualified" for you are only considering prerequisite courses needed to declare the major.

Things to Be Aware About:
* Each course you choose will be considered a course you passed WITH a satisfactory grade.
* The data is only based off of MAJORS, not MINORS.
* Every course at UCSC will NOT be present, only classes that are a part of any major declaration/prerequisites will be a part of the program.
* Data is all collected from the UCSC General Catalog and each individual Major Departments.
* Any external scores or courses will NOT be included here (transfer credits, AP/IB), you must research what is equivalent.
* Concentrations on Majors will be generalized for what is required unless specified differently.
